L. Harrisson Social Work Professional Corporation (LHSWP Corp.) provides specialized psychotherapy, Neurofeedback, and biofeedback services in Thunder Bay. We support first responders, police officers, veterans, and community members experiencing PTSD, trauma, chronic stress, anxiety/depression, sleep difficulties, and related concerns. Our multidisciplinary team includes social workers, psychotherapists, and Neurofeedback/Biofeedback practitioners. We connect clients with the practitioner and therapeutic approach best suited to their individual needs and goals. Services combine evidence-informed psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with classical EEG Neurofeedback and Heart Rate Variability (HRV) biofeedback. This integrated approach supports emotional and nervous-system regulation, resilience, focus, sleep, and daily functioning. Neurofeedback and biofeedback can also support performance enhancement and optimization, helping clients build on established stability to improve focus, stress management, recovery, and overall performance. Our team has extensive experience supporting first responders and their families, including members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), and understands the unique demands of policing, emergency service work, operational stress, and trauma exposure. While first responders are an important focus, LHSWP Corp. serves individuals throughout the broader community.
